Ringo Starr ajoute de nouvelles étapes à la tournée du All Starr Band

Ringo Starr &amp ; His All Starr Band ont ajouté quatre nouvelles étapes à leur tournée du printemps 2023. Les nouvelles dates sont le 23 mai au Terrace Theater de Long Beach en Californie, le 30 mai au Findlay Toyota Center de Prescott Valley en Arizona, le 4 juin au Saint Michelle Winery de Woodinville dans l’état de Washington et le 10 juin au Britt Festival de Jacksonville dans l’état de l’Oregon.

La dernière composition du All Starr Band comprend des vétérans tels que Steve Lukather de Toto, Colin Hay de Men At Work, Edgar Winter, le sideman de Paul McCartney Hamish Stuart de l’Average White Band – ainsi que le percussionniste Warren Ham et le batteur Gregg Bissonette.

Ringo nous a dit qu’à ce stade, cette formation particulière des All Starr’s est une machine bien réglée et bien huilée : [“I feel like we are a band. So, we know each other, y’know, we have a lot of fun, we play well, the songs are great, and the audience love it. But, y’know, sittin’ on a plane, sittin’ on a bus, sittin’ in the van — y’know what I mean, it’s all okay. It’s nice to get that, y’know? Every time we end a tour, y’know, whatever leg it is, I say, ‘Okay, that’s it’ and then (concert producer) Dave Hart will say, ‘Well, what about October?’ And I say to the band — ‘Do you wanna go (on tour) in October?’ And we all say, ‘Yes’ (laughs)”] (:26 OC : . . . tous disent oui (rires))
